Pistons race past Celtics in 4th

Despite a double-double of 15 points and 15 assists by Rondo, a 5 point advantage halfway through the 4th quarter and a solid showing by Paul Millsap that is sure to keep people rubbing their chins with imaginings of how he'd look in blue, red and white, the Celtics crumbled under the blitz by the hometown Pistons, who threw out a flurry of spectacular play to overwhelm a scattered effort by Boston.

Despite a reckless Rodney Stuckey in the first half, the Pistons, especially Tayshaun Prince (25 points) pestered the Celtics throughout the game, driving into the lane and scoring on too many precious free throws. Meanwhile, the Celtics were too busy missing shots they shouldn't miss in the 4th quarter after a dominant 40-29 point advantage in the 3rd.

Flashes of brilliance are merely that, flashes. The Pistons proved something tonight.
